6th Annual Snail Mail Bingo
Sugar & Kiki’s 6th Annual Snail Mail Bingo encourages you to send some snail mail throughout April - National Letter Writing Month.
This year’s bingo theme is inspired by John Wooden’s Pyramid of Success, a visualization he used with his UCLA basketball teams, which still hold the record for most NCAA championships.
Sugar & Kiki’s Pyramid of Postcard Success keeps the same concepts and gives you the flexibility to interpret them as you choose for your postcard writing.
For example:
Competitive Greatness: congratulate a high school senior on a recent college acceptance
Confidence: give a morale boost to someone who was recently laid off from their job
Team Spirit: write while watching the NCAA tournament
Alertness: invite a friend on a coffee date
Loyalty: thank your longest-tenured pal for their years by your side
Prizes! We got ‘em! One winner will be selected at random from each of the entries in these categories:
5-8 prompts: Winner gets a 3-month postcard subscription
9-14 prompts: Winner gets a 6-month postcard subscription
Blackout: Winner gets a one year postcard subscription!
You have two ways to enter: (1) post a picture of your bingo board on Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #snailmailbingo OR (2) email it to us here. You can include a picture of your mail or not; we use the honor system here.
We will soon post postcards for sale that you can use for these prompts. All proceeds from Snail Mail Bingo purchases go to Bruin Wildfire Relief Funds, providing emergency housing, meal vouchers, and more to UCLA students and staff recovering from the Los Angeles fires. No purchase is necessary to enter the contest.
